Alternatively you can try just slightly bigger resolution like smaller DSR factor and tweak sharpness until most of the pixelated patterns disappear.

WebNov 9, 2024 · RDR2 utilizes dithering in it's shadows and hair as part of it's quality scaling, and if you have shadows turned down quite a bit, that might explain it. If you get a chance to play the console version of the game and look closely at shadows you will notice a grainy effect there as well (very subtle though) as the shadows are dithered.
